
Gary Pearce
Managing Director
Prior to setting up UKMHT, Gary worked as a secure transport officer for many years.
In 2007, Gary gained a 2.1 degree in Management from Hull University. After a period as a lecturer, he returned to work in the care sector. He also holds a BTEC Diploma in Social Care.
Previously, Gary worked all over the U.K in various care environments including: high secure forensic units, children’s residential care, learning & disability care homes and general care homes. Clients ranged from young vulnerable people to people suffering with mental health issues and older adults.
Gary is committed to working within the care sector and is amiable and compassionate in his approach.

Mark Harrison
Director
Mark has had many years’ experience working with in the health care industry and brings a plethora of skills, knowledge and understanding to the company. For the past 6 years, Mark has transported patients from a range of facilities including: 136 suites, police stations, house extractions, low secure to high secure, forensic and PICU’s throughout the UK. Previous experience includes 20 years of caring roles for service users with dementia, spinal injuries and learning difficulties.

Dawn Langton
Director
Dawn has spent numerous years in health care and has a thorough understanding of The Mental Health Act 1993 & 2007. She has transported patients throughout the UK from 136 suites, police stations, house extractions, low secure to high secure, forensic and PICU’s. Dawn is an extremely calm and organised team member, also a skilled manager having worked with both experienced and inexperienced teams. Before working in patient transport, Dawn spent 13 years working in a nursing home.

Ben Pearce
Marketing & IT Manager
Ben has a great deal of experience dealing with people from all walks of life. He began his career working for British Aerospace but moved into hospitality before developing an interest in IT. Ben has worked alongside both young and mature adults with learning disabilities and mental health disorders. Due to his technical ability and friendly demeanor, he has become a valuable asset to the team.

- Mental health training (including mental health acts)
The team has adopted de-escalation techniques to escort patients with mental health illnesses safely and securely with the utmost care and compassion.
